The Rainhall drinks company began as a VG store (I think VG stands for veg grocers or very good) over 20 years ago. The shop was successful due to good old hard work and an eye of frugality.
Moving to the next generation of Sagars, the business was robust enough in foundations to take a number of slight directional changes. The addition of alcohol, the move away from a convenience store to an off-license and the blossoming of a wine, spirit and beer and beer shop selling up to 600 wines and 300 bottled beers and lagers at the peak.
Now, adapting to the economy, the way wine and beer is perceived, Rainhall Drinks Company now have the Wine and Beer shop in Barnoldswick, a Cellar Bar below the shop and run an outlet in the poular Oswaldtwistle Mills.
